I never really buy Manga because it's so damn expensive and they don't last very long.
But there was this one Manga that I saw at Barnes & Noble that I couldn't find ANYWHERE on the web.
No torrents or ebooks or anything.
So I gave in and bought it.
Sure enough, took me about 20 minutes to finish the book, and now I'm pissed that I spent $10 on a book that only lasts 20 minutes and I have to spend another $10 on the next book which will last another 20 minutes and what the fuck, I have to spend $30 just to get a good hours worth of reading.
Anyway, the Manga's called Bizenghast, and it's really quite awesome.
It's about this girl named Dinah who's parents died in a car crash.
She is sent to live with her Aunt, who just inherited a boy's school that was formerly an asylum from her sister that just died.
The main building of the school is made into a house for Dinah and her Aunt.
While living in the asylum/school/house, Dinah begins to see ghosts, spirits, ghouls, the likes.
Her Aunt rings up a doctor, who labels her as mentally ill.
She is confined to her bedroom ever since.
There is one boy she meets that dispels the evil spirits whenever he's around.
He frequents her house and they sneak out the window and go off on adventures.
One day, they are late getting home and decide to rush through the woods as a shortcut.
They run into a giant clearing with a mausoleum in the center.
It has a massive graveyard, which they venture into.
One of the headstones is a gigantic doorway into a underground chamber.
For whatever reason, he convinces her to go in, and then they find themselves inside the mausoleum.
They find this poem that says if you dare to continue beware the consequences blah blah blah and by that time I would have high tailed it out of there, but Dinah decides to open up this plaque thing and there in front of them is a contract stating that the mausoleum owns whoever signs the contract and sure enough Dinah signed it by opening the plaque.
So now she's stuck with the responsibility of clearing out the whole mausoleum of the restless spirits that have gathered there.
They have to first solve the riddles on the headstones which unlock the door into the spirit's lair where they are sucked into a dreamworld, the dream of the cruel reality of whenever and wherever that spirit died.
They then have to figure out how to release the spirit from that world and then everything's fine and dandy again.
They have to do this once a night for 40 nights, as there are 40 spirits yet to rest.

Pretty awesome indeed.
Well, that's the most I've ever typed in exactly 5 minutes.
