my university uses acrylic boards and projectors most of the time.
actually I think 30% of the classrooms uses chalk boards too

| Well if you have a seminar with like four guest professors all collaborating and debating about something like the tenth dimension, you can fill up 120 chalkboards really quick.

personally while solving evacuation in chalkboards at university it takes me like 10 minutes to fill up 1/3 of the chalkboard.
in 1 hour I think I could fill up 2 chalkboards. of course I could fill them up quicker by just drawing or writing without thinking but that is not what chalkboards are for, in fact it would take a lot longer if I had to explain as I write instead of just writing it.

its all done with equations. and the more complex something is the more time it takes to write down it because you have to think more what you are writing.
