hi,

I'm new to memory hacking and since I don't want to get myself banned from my favorite MMORPGs I thought I practice a little bit first

My first practice application searches iTunes' memory for a pattern that is stored just before the first byte of the name of the song that is currently playing, and writes that songtitle to the memory of another application. Works so far, but letting the application search for patterns in memory is kind of ugly, so I decided to find a pointer to that location instead.

In cheat engine I used "find out what accessess this address" on the address where the string is stored (0x69E27E72 at the time of writing this) but all I get is this (see attached jpg).
A few seconds later iTunes exits. Anyone know what's going on and how I can find my pointer?
