Been skateboarding for quite a few years, only doing it occasionally now. I prefer skateboarding, doesn't get me blisters and all that nasty stuff.

I have found grinds are much easier on skates.

is kinda easy to shop, all you have to do is equip a gun while you shop, people give you tons of free stuff.

I also need tips on stopping at speed. I dont have any break pads (Because I am no 2 years old) and i can not go down hills unless i want to hurt myself.

on a skateboard, just footbreak it. use your back foot to stop, keep weight on the board, create friction gently with your other foot until you can dig it down without getting thrown off.
or do it the cool way and just speed check it off.
on skates, i'd assume sliding the speed off is still the best way.

with skates you would just do it like skateboarders do , it takes some practice , but if you get good at it you can do all kinds of drifts and they just feel cool.
also the back skate (depends on which way your leaning) should be straighter to the ground than the one in front.

ITT, faggotry warns. This isn't scientific debates, it's GENERAL DISCUSSIONS. People make threads in GENERAL DISCUSSIONS so they can have a GENERAL DISCUSSION.
Ontopic, I personally like both, however rollerblading is alot easier, and I sometimes do it for exercise. Skateboarding isn't exercise.

i think skateboarding is nicer. i hate carrying skates around with me. especially when they're dirty or wet. skateboard is a lot better for when i'm off it though. takes less effort too. i wouldn't end up getting all sweaty by the time i get somewhere. skateboards suck for busy cities though.
