this was made extruding one vertex at a time. I'm going to be working on it some more later.

you should smooth the edges on the figure. I'm sure All 3D animation programs have this feature

you are at a stage were you can start smoothing , once you do you will notice some parts of the face dont look right , like the bridge of the nose and cheek bones . so then you can just fix it on the unsmooth side, cut in half mirror and move on.

If you notice, the eyes of a human are about halfway between the top of the head and the chin. Notice lack of forehead in your face.
