Well.. on the 16th I fell asleep in my computer chair and I woke up with my arm numb and I couldn't move it. Well a day or two passed and I regained some control but I can only control my left wrist/fingers about 20% and a doctor said it could be a pinched nerve to take anti inflammatory medicine and it will clear up in a few days. It's been a week.

Anybody ever had this happen? if so could you enlighten me of what it could be other than pinched nerve because the doctor said if it didn't clear up that they would have to do nerve tests and probably replace a nerve :/

I don't want them cutting my arm open but its really aggrevating to basically only have one arm.. I still have strength in my arm but can't control my wrist or fingers

First off go to your doctor again. I kind of had something, my hands went completely numb for around an hour, i was not leaning on them, i was just sitting down on my computer... scared the hell out of me.

I've seen him twice and next time they will do all those big nerve tests and possibly the worst... I hate this so much

check this out, other people have the same problems after falling asleep somewhere but nobody could tell them what the problem is
