Unlike the shitty teen vamp series/movies that are coming out, True Blood actually gives a real good example of a vampire.

Vampires in True Blood:
-Burn up in sun
-Burst into blood when staked
-Have fangs
-Suck blood
-Rape
-Suck blood while raping
-Murder
-Only come out at night.
-Dislike onions

by the way, True Blood is based on a vampire series that came out before Twilight.

For one, You cannot prove that a vampire either sparkles in the sun, or burns up in it. Since Vampires are not real, Theres no such thing as a "Real" vampire story, just one that relates close to common stereotypes.

that was my mistake.
was recalling it from an episode where some rednecks squeeze a piece of garlic to annoy Bill(main vamp) while he's talking about his past. I now realize that it wasn't onions because what they squeezed was too big :0
