Needs a better light source along with less fractal/smoke spam. The text just shouldn't be there, the focal needs to be more defined and the colours need to be more vibrant. Try googling for Senthrax's full signature tutorial, it'll teach you a fair bit. Also with this you should add some colours and smudge them around with some nice smudge settings, then make it flow with the render by doing more and more on different layers with different colours, but not too different. You could do with clearing up your lines, they're rather jagged, looks like you just cut out the guy with the polygon lassoo. Try overlaying some bezier curves in Illustrator or something.
The white "smoke" is pretty bad, try something a little more subtle. The placement, size and colour of the font makes it pretty difficult to read. Remember to use the rule of thirds when placing text.
Other than that, the composition ain't bad and the colours are alright. _________________
