There's a mode with 28 players I believe. And the maps are pretty big. MAG has got bigger maps but it takes ages to get somewhere.

While there are a lot of weapons in MW2, there are also a lot *more* weapons in Borderlands, but you can't say Borderlands is a better game because it has more guns.

That's such a vague statement I'm having trouble understanding what you mean.
Realistic explosions? Well, most explosions in the campaign are pre-scripted, so that's not "realistic" as much as someone flying on a wire is realistic flying.
Realistic physics? I hope you're kidding
Realistic particles? It's almost exactly the same as Modern Warfare 1, so that's another useless argument.

I can't fault you there. Being called a nigger and having my sexuality called into question an entire match is quite interesting.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm fairly certain all the game types in MW2 are the same game types from MW1, with the exception of the two that you had to pay $15 for, even though they were already on the disc at release.

Yes, indeed, great graphics. I find the improved scenery and weapon looks to be quite satisfying.

I find smoke, explosions, nukes look stunningly good when comparing them to games like MAG.
And making a physics system is not easy, you bet that making grenades rolling downhill or making something bounce against an object is not easy.

Borderlands has like 15 guns in different colours and different brandnames.

I mean server interaction, Jake. Not the community. + The community really makes a game bad. Yeah.

Pretty sure Capture the flag, Demolition, Ricochet and Express weren't in MW1. And I like the MW1 game plays.

Problems with MW2.
Every fan of the game remembers the javelin launcher, unlimited care packages, and care package speed exploits, 18 player never ending games of FFA on Rust which have been patched. Other problems still exist on all platforms, including unique issues for each console which in various ways allows players to quickly level to 10th Prestige or illicitly modify their gameplay stats, making leader boards pointless.
Lack of dedicated servers on the PC is completely shortsighted and creates so many problems that would not be there if they continued with the great system that powered CoD4.
Shitty hosts plague the game on both PC and consoles and I have had enough of connecting to a damn game, and then getting stuck at "Waiting for other players" for 5 minutes, and then getting booted back out. This happens about 1 in every 5 games that I try to join, and the host is migrated at least 1 in every 2 games. That is unacceptable, and it still hasn’t been fixed.
All these problems are giving competitors an easy time selling to the market.
Not to mention the pricing on their map packs. $15 for 3 new maps and 2 old ones? Damn, I could buy an excellent XBLA game like Shadow Complex, Battlefield 1943, Castle Crashers, MvC2... etc for that much. Haven't they already made a shitload of money from the largest entertainment launch in history? ffs, just lower the price to 800MSP ($10) and everybody would be a lot happier.
