What GFX card?

I'm using a pretty old computer right now, I'm trying to figure out why the picture looks so crappy and why I can't seem to get it above 1024 x 768 without it going weird. It's 17 inch.

The max was 2048x1440. In which case, you only saw the corner. Doesn't matter, I fixed it. It turned out to be 1280x1024, It looks beautiful.

Yeah it definitely was not 2048x1440. That's likely the max that your graphics card can put out, but definitely not your monitor.
