I'll try fix the message at the side. I did it in the original, but forgot how I did it. Also I'll be changing the look of the blog soon. Also if you help me, I can make it so that it skips to portal and goes straight to the blog if you tick a box.
EDIT:
As in like, tick it and it logs your IP and from then on, goes straight to the blog.

Flash is a bad idea since it's such a small portal. I heard XHTML is pretty good for minimal effects though.
