It's only 9:15, but I'm still only half-done with the whole thing. It's due tomorrow. Thank goodness it's only required to be one page [single spaced].

            Causes of French Revolution
Everything starts with a cause. People get chased down and get killed because they have done horrible deeds, people make money because they are poor, and there has to be a cause for the French Revolution. The French Revolution begin in 1789 in the State General meeting in May to discuss the financial crisis (Final stage of the Revolution; Batch.) but King Louis XVI just bash the Third Estates off in the meeting. But as the Third Estate population is dramatically a lot more than First and Second Estate combined, thus the French Revolution begins.
France, who was absolute monarchy at that time before the French Revolution starts  , the wealthy country and the Sun King, Louis XIV of France, who was famous for the creation of this fabulous palace, Versailles. Which is the biggest palace in the world and one of the finest paced lasted to modern age just to have fun and kept all the nobles under control. A fabulous palace could not just pop out magically, 40 years of hard work over 2,000 acres ground("Steingrad, Elena. "Louis XIV - the Sun King”) thousands died, loads and loads of money were put into construction. But it was finally built, with the 3rd Estate supporting the daily lives of Versailles with their tax money which ends up slamming Louis XVI later on.
The country was already leading a financial debt before Versailles even begin, during the Seven Year’s War; France aided the American Revolution against Great Britain( Chapter overview, MC.Graw.Hill.Corp.), because the government failure to tax, leading to a time of poverty. Then Louis XIV with his absolute power, created a series of increase taxes for everyone.
The First and Second Estates barely have to do anything. They own most of the land thanks to their privileges, taxes was non-existing (Batchelor “The Causes of The French Revolution”). But, for the Third Estates with the increase taxes which forced workers to harder while suffering from bad harvest. With all the spending, debts, the successor of France, Louis XVI failed to do anything and dismissed ministers who introduce financial reforms. By 1789, bankrupt landed.
Another problem before the revolution is that the misbalance between the three classes, First, Second, Third Estates. The First Estates are combined by upper and lower clergy, they owned 10% of the land in France but they were only a 1% of the population. (Batch, Cause of the French Revolution), they don’t have to pay taxes, have nice house, boats and rich. The Second Estates contains the nobles and aristocrats, they mostly have position in church, government, and army, the kings “loves” them and have fun living at Versailles, also paid little or no taxes. Then there is have the Third Estates, which are the most of the population of France, the peasants, city workers, farmers, Bourgeoisies (teacher, lawyer, rich but not noble) (Batch, French Revolution Reading guide). Most of peasants have little food, they paid hefty taxes, and the king does not give a damn about them. This factor contributes to the French revolution because the Third Estates are seeing unfair advantages, while the First Estates have all the land, sucking up all their taxes. While with all those things add up, France is in the worse shape of possible, and so the King invites everyone to the General Estate meeting.
The causes of French Revolution is just bunch of bills added from the king to the next king because their absolute monarchy power, leading France to destruction. Thanks to the glorious Sun King, Louis XIV with his fabulous Versailles, and his absolutism. The cost to build Versailles and to upkeep the nobles in Versailles took half of French taxes (Batch, #3), but Louis XVI destroyed the record so no one know exactly the cost. The debt increases because the debt from the Seven Years of War. The hardship for the Third Estate adds up, loathed at the First and Second Estates. The French Revolution broke out after the State General meeting.
