Is 64 bit a big failur from microsoft's side? I mean it's obviously hard to implement when I even get messages saying this or that is not supported in microsoft's own programs :S

Is that why nothing is supported? Not even microsofts own stuff?

They made the os? o.O And an OS should fully support 64 bit. Especially microsofts programs.

Plenty is supported. You must have never actually used it.

XP 64bit is a failure, but w7 is great. Plenty of things had support back when it was rc2. Sometimes vista drivers work on w7 also.

64 bit isnt a matter of them supporting it. A 64 bit processor runs 64 and 32 bit code. The problem arises either running a 64 bit program on a 32 bit processor or on a 32 bit OS.

Windows 7 64-bit will give an error on hardware failure if you attempt to install the OS on a system with a 32bit processor.
