Is 64 bit a big failur from microsoft's side? I mean it's obviously hard to implement when I even get messages saying this or that is not supported in microsoft's own programs :S

Is that why nothing is supported? Not even microsofts own stuff?

They made the os? o.O And an OS should fully support 64 bit. Especially microsofts programs.

I gues not. | XP 64bit is a failure, but w7 is great. Plenty of things had support back when it was rc2. Sometimes vista drivers work on w7 also.

| 64 bit isnt a matter of them supporting it. A 64 bit processor runs 64 and 32 bit code. The problem arises either running a 64 bit program on a 32 bit processor or on a 32 bit OS.

Windows 7 64-bit will give an error on hardware failure if you attempt to install the OS on a system with a 32bit processor.
