I want the best of the best, so help me out here.
1) Processor.
I hear the i7 is the best processor in the world right now, but isn't have a core 2 quad core better?
I mean, 4 processors?
But I don't know, because I don't know.

So even though a quad core has 4 processors, the i7 is better?
I don't game much, more for rendering 3d/music/other creative stuff.

It all depends on the speed, ddr3 sometimes has better bandwidth, they all have different latency, timing, etc.
