I opened up my latest dell catalog, crappy crap crap.
The prices seemed to be the same, but all the specs were sub standard.
I didn't get it.
And then I realized.
They have ads for fashionable computers.
Now days it's all about looks.
The computers have leather casings.
Lipstick colored casings.
Bamboo casings.
Slim and lightweight.
Jesus fuck, even the XPS, which I was expecting to have improved since the last version, is starting to look like one of those mac things that are just a monitor and no tower.
WHERE IS THE POWER?
WHERE IS MY RENDERING STUDIO?
WHERE IS MY MIXING BOARD?
And I'm shocked at the new alienware, $700?
Crappy specs?
What happened?
Alienware is supposed to be the mercedes of gaming computers, and they're selling out cheap because they can't compete with the revenue of all these fashionista libraries.

| True but there's no parts suppliers anywhere near here and shipping is expensive.

I made a thread about the alienware bullshit the day it came out. What the fuck, right? By the looks of the specs, it would "lag" on flash games.
