So my laptop mic's wire i believe is damaged so i need a replacement of the wires, also whats the yellow tape called thats covering the wires?

I can't see shit in those pictures, but is your laptop torn down while it's running? I guess try speaker wire, though I can't tell how it's broken since I can't see shit in those pictures.

i think the inside wire is ripped, not the plastic covering..
or maybe its loose to the soldered part...
i dont have a solder..
