Let me begin by apologizing if this belongs in the Anti-cheat Bypassing forum. I was not sure whether it fit there, so I decided it would be best to post here.
It seems that when GameGuard detects a process that's in its cheat database, it automatically restarts the computer. I have not done any research on the topic as of yet, but I'm making a somewhat-educated guess that this would be accomplished using a Windows API.
If that is the case, would it not be possible to intercept those API calls and prevent them from being executed and/or redirect them to a procedure that would simply call a harmless alert window which will tell you that GameGuard has detected whatever program you're using?
I will appreciate any details you can supply me with. Thank you.
