Cheat Engine

Hi there,

is it possible to get an extra window to activate the DirectX-Mess functions in the next version ? I'm asking because i'm having trouble activating them. The game i play freezes when i keep cheat-engine attached to it and therefore i have to close it before starting it. The "Texture Unlocked" Area inside the game works fine. I simply can't do anything once playing since the game seems to block the keys for itself. The mouse also gets messed up and can only be fixed by unplugging the hardware itself after terminating the game process.

It would be great if there would be an additional window on the windows desktop that allows turning functions of cheatengine on/off. Ability to unattach the debugger to the application would be nice as well, so you dont have to close the whole program when running your game.

You can turn off the debugger of cheat engine by going to the processlist and choosing any other process.
Just do it before clicking ok to start the game

You can even keep the dirictx mess window open and apply changes later on

Of course, detaching only works in windows XP and later . Windows 2000 won't work

Thanks for the fast response. Do you have any solution to the keymap/Hook problem ? Maybe a pointer i could turn on/off or memory value i change in order to enable/disable D3D-Mess features ? (zbuffer, wireframe toggles specificly)
