I have a 2 year warranty on all the expensive parts btw. Just want to know if it's good enough(since I'm going to play high spec games)

No case? Old case being reused? You way want to split your order. If you can do it where its below 25lbs and over 100 bucks, its free shipping.

Do you really need an I7? They are going to drop in price soon enough. i9 will be sure of that. If you don't need that much power, get an I5. Are you really going to be doing something liek rendering?

Fabulous processor. You're going to need an am3 mobo though.

You are now on my cool list. He told me he wanted to render shit though, so an i7 is better. I think he should just wait for an i9 though.

yeah, I decided that intel was just a big fat waste of money. when i actually compared it with the amd shit and wrapped my mind around price not having anything to do how good something is, I realized intel's scheme.

If you REALLY want to do crazy advanced art stuff, sure whatever. the i5 750 is the best intel core yet, get that one.

Yes, finally. Intel is higher end, ya, but you dont need an i7 for gaming or anything. Anyone who thinks they need an i7 to game is crazy. A gaming rig doesnt have to be worth more than your car, and neither does a pc used to render.

i7:
triple channel
hyper-threading
unnoticable shit unless you do benchmarks

Buy the PhenomII X4 955 BE or the 965 BE if you just play gaems and shit, fuck even a the Phenom XX 2 is enough, and you can always gamble and try to unlock the cores.
PSU is overprice, and underrated, buy something better.
Only buy from Tigerdirect after you done price matching, unless you are a resident of California and being rape by tax, there should be no reason to only use one online retail store.
Check for your local FRY's, Microcenter, they have very good discount shit, I5 +p55A ud3p combo for $200 USD, or i7 + X58 mobo for $250 USD, and clearance item, or promo sales etc.

cheap mobo is cheap, eco ram is low cas latency and voltage so easy overclock, 5850 for cfx, and the mobo was for a cheap build for phox, ill fix.

buying cheap mobo doesn't make overclocking easier, the voltage on ram isn't signifcant enough unless you doing the 4.5ghz project, which i doubt you do.
5850 is overkill for everything, adding another for crossfire is just wanting to play Crysis@ 2560x1600@120fps. By the time graphic has really improve(which won't, thanks to poor economic) your psu wouldn't be living.
Face it, you never lived the geforce 4 Era, i doubt you even seen the 8800gt era.
the 5xxx series will never be legendary
