Sadly you can't customize it.

Anyway how does the specs look? Is it worth it for its price?

I guess, are you planning on running Crysis and games like it on that? I'm sure it can run them but it seems weird.

Don't ever get an expensive laptop. Laptops aren't for gaming, they're for work and flash games. A laptop that big isn't as good for gaming as a desktop, and not as portable as a real laptop. A better format for you would be to build yourself a 750$ [kick ass] gaming desktop and a 350$ some prebuilt laptop. My answer is no, it is absolutely not worth it, and it's hardware isn't even that good.

According to some forums I've stumbled upon researching. It could reach 3 hours and 27 mins with power saving modes and shit

@phox
Desktop replacement eh with atleast some portability and I'm not going to use it for games.

Also,
That HP Envy looks nice, but I can't seem to find the customize option.

By power saving modes and shit, they probably mean sleep mode.

Cool, you can keep your laptop on for 3 and a half hours when it is practically off.

Gaming laptops are simply a bad idea IMO.

Power save mode is when you close your laptop.

Like the powersaving mode on a DS or something.

Power save mode on laptops means it lowers the brightness of the screen by alot, and I think the performance is slower. Atleast that's what it says under battery options on my laptop.

Naww, they mean with minimum brightness and stuff while browsing internet.
I'm considering the HP envy. What are your opinions about it?

i'd go with ASUS laptops if you willing to spend that much, which no one would.

It has nice reviews, but no market because is way too high end, impossible(in most retail in China) to find one except customize online

Anything toshiba is horrible. My aunt had one of their laptops years back, with a warrenty with them. They replaced the laptop 10 times with a new motherboard before compusa got pissed off and gave her an acer as a replacment. That acer went 3 years and then the screen died from being dropped by my sister.

Toshiba is bad bad juju.

Sounds like Dell and Alienware stories from my research.

Also,

Asus laptops huh. Can you recommend me a model that's quite similar to the envy? The HP envy is cheaper than other branded laptops [With same specs or better] I've found.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220692

i7-720QM, 4GB DDR3 1066, 320GB*2 7200RPM, ATI HD 5730, BD combo, 17.3" 1600x900

Or for a less expensive option for the cost of smaller HDD space and lower screen resolution:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220690

You can consider the X1 models for both of the above as well.
