EDIT (Please read):

This will make some people happy. 2 questions (Please, come on guys! Actually answer these!) will a hyper 212 cooling fan fit in there with the Phenom II x4 despite the AM3 socket? And, is the ripjaw ram compatable with the "ASUS M4A78T-E AM3 AMD 790GX HDMI ATX AMD motherboard"? (gee, long enough name?)

get some seasonic, ocz, pc&c, corsair (lolfanboy),antec (new version), emermax, silverstone, anything else is shit( lack of warranty, firework etc...)

I updated (totally re-chose) the components. See the first post.

I chose another tower, since that one looks really cool and didn't come with a free power source. I'm pretty sure that the power source I picked is good enough for the hardware, tell me what you think.

Hero, I would get that ram you said was pretty good, but I don't see a very big difference between it and what I have. Also, (correct me if I'm wrong) it's only compatible with a couple of motherboards? Or am I making that up?

Stop fucking around with xxx and be cards. get the regular xfx card.
don't buy open box. get the i5 750 and the mobo in my build. just get all of my build.

Sony Optiarc drive
Antec 300
SpinPoint F3 HD103SJ
no GPU (wait until prices drop or Fermi; $325 is way too high even for an HD5850)
Corsair CMPSU-650TX
G.Skill Ripjaws
Non-open box X58 board (Gigabyte or Asus)
i7 920 (MicroCenter B&M has it at $200)

I did another, this time I actually incorporated alot of your advice.

Sorry, though, I think I'm hanging on to that i7. Grand total is $1186. The normal edition of the 5850 is out of stock, it will come back soon though.

I suppose most of the specs are indeed the same. Does .14 ghz make a difference?
