How do I do those light white colored lines like in this signature?

Like the lines along the chop sticks.

Uhh, I've got a question.

When I first downloaded Photoshop I did the Pen Tool glows and stripes and everything was fine, However over the past week every time I select simulate pressure it doesn't actually give the fade effect anymore.
Any fixes?

could you check your brush settings and report? Very Happy size, which brush, any dynamics?
