Yeah by people who are fucking ridiculously good at programming and made something that, in essence, works solely for GTA4. The program you have to have to decompress is likely over a GB.

You must mean GTA 3. Compressing GTA 4 to that would be impossible. It is GTA 3, and that's only with the radio removed (and without the radio, GTA 3 is only something like 300-500 MB anyway...)

If you want a truly amazing compression example, search for the "64 kb demo"... it is a 5 minute, fully textured 3D animation complete with a soundtrack.
