Well, that pretty much sums it up. My Acer x223w won't display a single thing until it reaches the Windows login screen. It simply says "No input" until then, so it isn't sensing anything until Windows boots up. I plugged in a second monitor about an hour ago just to see if it was the monitor's problem (although I couldn't think of what else it would have been), and that one displayed everything.
Now I wouldn't say this is an emergency, but it would be nice if I could see stuff.

my moms emachines did the same thing sorta. the screen turned off completely between the logo and booting windows. Even when I tried to make it chkdsk. It didnt stop till I reformatted, so I think its a software problem.

@Hero, yeah I had to bring the other monitor over because I was doing chkdsk, and it wouldn't display anything.

Try the Acer monitor on another Computer and see if you have the same results of delayed monitor working. When I log off, sometimes my monitor turns off then on again. But my monitor still works before windows...

But my old monitor (that he's using now) showed the boot process, and the second monitor I have plugged in shows the boot process, but not the x223w.
