The Tale of the Troll

Young little Ikot got ready for bed, he brushed his teeth and made his bed and still had time left over to practice his guitar and listen to his radio. As he practiced he knew he was getting better and always wanted to be a famous rock star. After he finished practicing he listened to his radio, on the news station he heard of an ancient troll who had been summoned from a lake to reek havoc on a near by town, its said that only special people can play the song to send him back. Ikot knew he was the one to do it, and he would ask his parents when he woke up.

When Ikot woke up he rushed down and explained to his folks that he was the one to send the troll back to his lake with his guitar but the responded “Son you’re only 11, we can’t let you do this it’s too outrageous”, young Ikot dissapointed went back to his room. He turned his radio back on and heard the announcers talking about the troll he knew he had to do something, he got ready to leave even though his parents told him not to.

Ikot climbed out his window and went off to his journy to send the troll back, he walked for a few days and finally got to the town where he saw the troll. He brought out his guitar and started to play but couldn’t, he tried and tried but he just couldn’t play. He wondered why, but it was obvious, it was because he was so scared. His parents had found out he left against their permission and had been following him the whole way, they brought with them the sheet music for their son.

As the father yelled “Here boy! Catch this!”, Ikot turned around and cought it, and as he begon to play the troll had already beaten him to death with his club, the young boy smashed and disfigured with his parents crying in sorrow only feet away the troll rushed after them and they suffered the same fate.
