I was just scared, like a while back or something in the 1990's there was a rumor going around the world was going to end, but it didn't.

There have been rumors of the world ending for a lot longer than any of us have been alive, and none of them have ever came true. The 2012 has the least credibility of any of them yet.

Ages are like 1000's of years apart, or some shit.

Look up the Mayan calander and their age cycle.
