Well I have VOIP
and have a dualband 300mbps DLink wireless router

but now my dad bought this all in one phone router DLINK 54MBPS that has built in phone connection

Now im wondering if i'll notice a decrease in speed?

Like I mean my download speed, and while downloading a XBOX 360 game and playing Gears of war 2 online

The XBOX is connected wired not wireless

Will it lag?
I tried today and it did while i was downloading a game, but is that because of the router?

Unless your connection is actually reaching speeds of 54Mbps, your wired devices may see a decrease in signal strength. You haven't mentioned the wired speed of either device, so that's hard to tell, though wired connections are usually ridiculously fast in your LAN (Upwards of 100Mbps usually).

On my Ipod Touch it is now at 2 bars when i am in the other room instead of 3

Well I wouldnt know the wired speed
as the 50ft network cable is connected to port 2 on the router and the other port on the XBOX 360
