Thought this would be a good place to put a link to the download page,

Well I put the link here because over the past year or so I have seen a lot of people asking where they can download cheat engine from,
dark byte has a link in his sig but not many newcomers realise its there ,,,,,#

and since this is the cheat engine part of the cheat engine forum index it seemed like this would be the place somebody would look for it.......

and as this post has already been viewed 56 times at the time of writing my answer to you question,
which subtracting yours mine and cpartys away from the count , that makes it around 50 hits in a couple of days,, then surely it's self evident that quite a few people have come here from places other than the cheat engine home page eh,

as cparty rightly pointed out some folk get here using links from forums and not the CE download site,

so one post giving the link to the download page has got to be better than dozens of posts asking PLZZ PLZZZ PLZZZZZZZZZ PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ TELL ME WHERE I CAN GET CHEAT ENGINE I CAN'T SEE IT!!!!!!!

and even better than the 500 posts that follow it saying..

F@@KING NOOOB HAAA HAAA HE DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO GET CHEAT ENGINE HAA HAA HAA,

followed by...

YEAH YOUR RIGHT HE IS A F@@KING NOOOB ARSEHOLE HAA HAAA HAAA
HE CAN'T FIND CHEAT ENGINE LIKE US ,

yep pages and pages of flames......... all for the sake of one little link to cheat engine posted in a part of the forum called

CHEAT ENGINE,,

there now,, dark byte can lock this any time he likes,

Well, I don't need the link but if it is like you say and many do not know where to find the download link then perhaps the download link should be made a sticky? Or just leave it to natural selection Wink
