Someone else here did a pixel sword earlier today I think. It looked like fun, so I gave it a go.

I'm quite aware that it is not perfect and details should be added on the blade.

Edit: I have made some changes. I shaded the blade, remove the glow, and changed the colors of the outlines, all as you suggested, CrisNMP.

Edit #2: I made another version just now that has a slightly more rounded out blade.

Edit #3: Added runes.

#4: runes glow.

#5: Various changes.

#6: Stuff on the hilt.

Actually I do agree that they are pretty bad, you can try learning the basics of pixel art before showing your work if you dislike being criticized.

To help you out, I would remove the glow, replace black outlines with darker lines of the colour around it, add shading and lightning then practise till you get the hang of it and work on the actual design. I'll post a quick picture of what I mean for the first ones soon.
