if I overclock my graphics card will any other hardware be affected? If the graphics card breaks will I only have to replace the card or does it damage my cpu as well? I'm planning on buying a new card anyway so I might as well overclock my old one.
you might want to buy a better Fan for your graphic card or a liquid cooling system
Stock fan will most likely do the job, it's when you start doing voltage mods. Then you should get an aftermarket cooler.
Just turn the fan to max using a program such as Rivatuner and you should be fine.
You get a warning sign when it overheats anyways, such as artifacts.
Overclocking can improve the performance but the downside is that theres a chance of breaking it due to overheating
I dont really kno about overclocking the graphic card but doing to the pC will have this affect
it's basically impossible to kill a modern CPU by overheating and you'd have to be pretty retarded to not notice the HORRIFIC GRAPHICAL GLITCHES that mean you're pushing your GPU too far.
