Cheat Engine

hey everyone i'm a noob at this and am asking for help. i heard that u can upgrade ur resources in tribal wars by . . . well here is wat i found.

Ok, there ARE no cheats!
But this hacking-tool can change different numbers in like pupulation, iron, wood etc.
(can be used in other games too)
The name is "Cheat engine"
Just search for your number u want and raise and lower the value to find it and be sure
it is yours and u can change it... dont set it to high then maybe you crash or get kicked
from Tribalwars permanent.

so i finished downloading cheat engine and did the tutorial but stil didn't get wat this guy was talking about! his instructions r too vague! if i don't ask u guys, i might have to spend more time encrypting wat he said more than the game!

So to anyone who can help, tribalwars is a browser game so u don't hav to download it if u want to experiment with it. just leave step by step instructions and i kno the codes wil vary but do the best u can to explain it plz.

no wat i meant to say is i don't understand how to do wat the guy "Dave The Entertainer" is saying(the thing italicized). i finished and understood the tutorial.

He knows what you're saying.
If you really understood the CEF tutorial, you should understand what he's saying.
It really isn't that hard to understand.
My lil' sister understands it, and she barely speaks English.

wel . . . here's wat i already tried and then help me edit wat i did to make it right . . .

1.) i clicked on the computer icon on the top left(forgot what it's called) and then selected to hack with cheat engine.
2.) i set "scan type" to exact value, and "value type" to 4 Bytes.
3.) i set in how much resources i had of one resource type and clicked "first scan".
4.) i waited until the resource type i wanted to change increased (increases +1 each 30 sec, minute, depending on the lvl ur resource is) then once it did, i input the next number then clicked "next scan" but no address was left from the original 47.

so that's exactly wat i did . . . to anyone who can edit this to make it work, plz do.

as i know this game is server sided and you may just find the screen values

but if you find that try this

first scan for unknown value
in the next scan search for increased or decreased or changed value
and repeat this until you find it
