Last week, my cousin gave me his macbook pro, using it for only a week and claiming it had a shitty wireless so he gave it to me.
Now, I don't like the mac OSX, so i want to know if i install windows xp on his macbook, can i play tf2 on it?
the specifications are:

2 GHz Intel Core Duo
1.5 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAm

sorry, i don't know how to check what kind of video card it has

RAM might be on the low side, but it should run.

Do you have an external mouse BTW?

Then you're fine. Graphics won't be that good without a decent card, but that's not really the concern, right?

i've been playing counter strike with a 10 year old computer for the longest time lol
don't think graphics will be a problem, just how smooth and how high my frame rate can get

With mediumish settings, there shouldn't be too much of a problem.

EDIT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GImIpYsqA5c <-- Seems to run alright. Average of 59FPS running it in bootcamp at 1440x900 with high settings. Would probably run better natively.

Why would you install such an old OS on a fairly new laptop Confused

AFAIK, XP does not support EFI, you'll only be able to install Vista or 7.
