each anti-virus has two versions

eset nod32
eset smart security

kaspersky anti-virus
kaspersky internet security

eset smart security v4.0

The best anti virus, low resource intensive, it is cheaper than kaspersky, and also has sometimes better findings for viruses than kaspersky.

Eset: All rounder. Speed, security, and reliability. Security not that good. but has good realtime file scanning.
Kaspersky: Speed: 8 Security: 10
Bitdefender: 1% worse thand Eset.

Secuirty not good?

It has protected me countless times from port scanning and DNS poisoning attacks.

Compareed to the million other AVs, ESET's security is already very good. But KIS and BD is better by a bit.

False positives. Many. I modified a system file, it said OMG VIRUS!

Kaspersky is good. It does indeed have a better virus database, but if you are an average PC user, you would use ESET.
