I've had trouble trying to get onto blocked sites that have dynamic content (flash, java) as well as programs like ssh and irc. You are not allowed to use a vpn, and traffic is only allowed on port 80 and 443.
Sites like twitter, facebook, etc are keyword blocked, *proxy* is keyword blocked, and google cache's are blocked.
The school uses a socks proxy to use the internet, without one you can't use it. Also, websites not in the filter's trusted list are automatically blocked
ANY ideas to evade?

Well if they just block the names of the sites like my schools dose, you can just go to CMD and type Ping Www.*********.com and it will give you an ip back that you just type into your address bar and it will take you to the site.

You could try Ultrasurf.
Google it and you also don't need to download.
Just open it and done, you can view anything and I think it is quite fast.

I think proxy sites aren't in the trusted list of the filter. The situation: he can only access certain sites; he can't access the internet without using the proxy server which contains that filter; networking is limited to port 80 and 443 (no port 21 for FTP?).
Try to remote control back to your home using Remote Desktop Connection (run >mstsc ) and use your home PC to surf the web. I 'think' you can set your remote port somewhere. Let me dig it up...
Edit: Got it. http://www.walkernews.net/2007/08/01/how-to-change-remote-desktop-listening-port/

Why go thorugh that trouble when they WILL have remote desktop disabled.
Try using teamviewer, it does what it does (remote access) on the http ports.

communist school
But like if it blocks all sites not in trusted list? that would mean that there's no much you can do.
Try boot into linux if cd/usb boot is enabled. |
How is it in any possible way a communist school?
It could be a "free" school AND a "communist" school, making your point null.
Communism is just an economic philosophy.
Anyway, try setting up a proxy at your house for you to use. ;D
That might not work though since it blocks all not-regulated sites.
