First note : I've been through the CE tutorial as well as the tutorial section.

I'm trying to get the God Mode hack in an online game working. There's no hp value, only a yellow bar that indicates your health. So, I went with
1. Unknown Initial Value
2. Get hit
3. Decreased value
and repeat, sometimes walking around and using my mp for Unchanged Value.
Until I obtained only a few addresses ( 6 if my memory is right )
I froze all the addresses and it worked. My health would drain then quickly go back to before getting hit.

Then, I quit then tried to do it again ( Searching for the address from scratch. Not using the old addresses ) Sadly, no dice. I've been occasionally trying for the past month or so, including mp hack ( also no value ). Tried using all value types. Still same result.

So, might anyone suggest another method of doing it? Or would someone with loads of time help a newbie? Razz

Perhaps the online game is already encrypted or protected?

Encryption or protection wouldn't be a problem like this.

Could it be that it's a browser based game? If so: make sure you have no additional tabs open.

And if not: are you attached to the right process?
Or perhaps you're being to hasty in your scans. Even CE needs time to update its addresses Very Happy

(this should only be a few milliseconds though.

Sorry for the late reply. I went to try out on different, more popular games.

Oh and it's not a browser game.

Going back to the problem, I've sorted out the problem, using only decreased values by 1 ( It was an extreme pain trying to get hit with minimal damage only ). Not surprisingly, the HP address is dynamic. Apparently, the address for the HP also changes after a certain amount of time. Now I'm up against looking for the HP pointer.

I've looked through tutorials, going to -Find out what writes to this address- then -The value of the pointer needed to find this address is probably <something>-

Went to New Scan, Ticked Hex Box, searched for the value. It comes up with numerous addresses ( All black ). Using Next scan for the same address several times, I'm usually able to get it down to 16-18. As I speak, I've actually gotten it down to 6 addresses. But from here on, I'm stuck. Most tutorials only teach up to getting a green static address or only one black address.

Edit: the addresses also change each time I restart the game. Sad
