Hey, I am looking to buy a external hard drive though I want CEF's opinion on what's best.

Storage capacity range: 250GB+
Price range: Less than $200 AU

I got mine off ebay for about $70 a while ago. 500gb
O_O;
but here's a pretty cheap one for $109

Doesn't matter whether it has it's own fan or not. I will rarely carry it, and if I do I will put it in a case. I want it to be USB though, because one of my PC's I want to use it with doesn't have firewire.

I have (or had, don't know where it is) a portable hdd. I loved it becuase it's so easy to bring Smile I can like put it my pocket Smile

well i have a 320gb one of those and it is larger than portable ones, and it does require you to plug it into the power point. and it does have a fan.
