In all honesty Gears of war 1 and 2>Halo 1,3 and CoD 4,5
But when it comes down to halo and CoD
I would say Halo 3 was a complete failure halo 2 was much better.
I preferred CoD 4 to 5 but I did enjoy killing zombie nazis :3

CoD:WaW (NOT 5) > Halo 3.
Halo 3 is fucking shit. Horrible framerate and just boring. Everyone is only hating on CoD:WaW because there's not fancy lasers that aim for you and no guns that fire a thousand bullets a second. In other words, they suck at it.

Seriously? I thought gears of war fucking sucked.
Halo 3 is alright. It's my choice for multi-player gaming, but for campaign I definitely prefer CoD by a long shot.

Halo was amazing in the first run through it.
But...you play it too much and you eventually join the crowd that says it's a gay game.
If you were in that wave of players that purchased it in those first few months of its' release, you probably would've loved it. And then hated it.
That, and CoD is fucking beast.

Mainly because it can keep me entertained with my friends, driving warthogs over eachother etc...
However, I do enjoy CoD4. CoD: WaW was just plain horrid.

But I was looking forward to Halo 3 beta way back when and was totally disappointed.....They fixed multiplayer + they are fixing gun glitches and fixing ranks in the next patch which I believe is this week :3

I'd say C.O.D. is a little more intense. But Halo is more fun for me.. just depends, what you like. Although, C.O.D. is wayyy more realistic..
