Not sure what forum to put this in...
Anyways:
So, I have a large speaker with the type of wire end shown in the photo.
There IS a type of "plug" for it that it can attach to, but obviously, it's not very common. Is there a way I can adapt it to fit other types of audio plugs?

The device in my house that can hold it is shown here:

The back:

The ports located to the right of the picture with the red and black tabs are would would hold the shown-below wire end.

I'm guessing this is an EXTREMELY old system, so here's how it works:
You push down on the red or black tabs and push one wire end into it, release the tab, and it clamps it in there. You do the same with the other wire end. One of them goes in the black, and the other goes in the red.

I don't want to risk electrocution, or ruining the objects I'm using, but is there some way I can, like, cut other wire adapters, such as the one shown in the picture below, and intertwine them with these ends, and it would work?
