Ok, I have been uploading this video for ages now but it keeps on saying upload failed because of an error. Help please!!

Maybe the file it is saved as isn't compatible with youtube.
it happened to me before.
you might have to save it as something else.

yeah, but Im using moviemaker to edit my vids and when u publish the vid, it is saved as .wmv

You might have to use another editor.

well, im using camtasia for recording, I save it as .avi, edit it using moviemaker, save it as .wmv and failure to upload at youtube.

| The file could be too large; the length of the video could be too long. Double-check everything!

.avi's are always big as fuck, like 600MB+ for me. You can use a video converter and convert .wav -> [format here] I use TotalVideoConverter

I can export a 1MB .avi animated logo if I wanted to, or re-encode a large video file.
YouTube allows for .avi, .3gp, .mov, .mp4, .mpeg, .flv, .swf, .mkv. You need to use the appropriate compression codecs for each, documented here.

I don't think you can Upload .avi's on youtube.. You need to upload Mp4...
Here is a Tutorial On how to do it. +rep Plz.
Step #1: http://online.movavi.com/ <== go there
And upload your video
(make sure your video is not longer then 10minutes and not over 100mb)
Step #2: Click on the drop down menu and click "Mpeg-4 format (.mp4)" or .Avi
Step #3: Enter Your Email Address and click Conver!
Step #4: Wait for it to upload and Convert.. Occupy your boredom...
Step #5: Check Your Email For completion And go to the link that they tell you to (if it was uploaded sucessfully). Click On the Link that it gives you and Download The Video On that link and save it.
Step #6: Upload it on youtube... The video should be "mp4 format"
