i got an ipod touch nd when i take it to school i can find the wifi name but then it asks for a password...
my ipod is jailbroken and is 2.2

is there an app or something i can do to find the pass or like just get into the wifi thing without having to type a pass?

It would be impossible to use the Wi-Fi without a password; its encrypted. There are things you would be able to do on a computer to get the password (Like bruteforce), but I doubt you could on an iTouch.

It is probably the 8 digit code on the bottom of the modem box. That is what it is in my school.

On my school you can login using you username and pass.
I've done it on my ipod.

What you want to try is:
Using "admin" "admin"
Get spoofmac and changing that.
Get aircrack.

Would probably be the same way as doing it on a computer.. Cracking passworded wifi

Now I think about it, if you have a laptop, get a wifi cracking program on there, get the password and put it in on your ipod.

Not that I'm encouraging this sort of behavior. >_>
