The iPod Touch is escentially the iPhone without the 3Gs. I say get the iPhone, they are around the same price and the iPhone has more features. Both can be jail broken and unlocked.

hmmm but why should i get thee iphone if their plan is gay and i don't half to pay nothing idk I'm getting it next week idk now if i should get it they want to charge me 150 a month for their unlimited plan extra gay
i can stay with tmobile and pay a 100 a month and no extra fee with the itouch

If you can't handle people's opinions on you making poor choices as a consumer, don't post at all. If you can't handle criticism on you being lazy and disrespectful towards the people who would otherwise be trying to help you, don't post. Enough with the threats of de-reps, I couldn't care less.

You know you can get the iPhone on different networks besides AT&T? There was a whole article about a group of teenager's who figured it out right when the iPhone came out. I'm sure more people have figured out now. Probably wouldn't be that hard to get it on Verizon or something else like T-Mobile.

The problem is, you can brick the iPhone in the process, and even if it works, Apple can still remotely brick it whenever the feel like it. Too much work and too much risk for such a poor piece of hardware.

Get an iPod touch and get a NORMAL phone.
It's what I've done.
I even used a friends iPhone for a few days, and it's overrated.
