I don't know if this is like this in every section, but in the Maple Story section, it's a mass of tons of questions and a few releases (compared to the questions). This can be very hard because the search function isn't as reliable as people think it is (To me anyways, I look up a release and I get people asking about the release -.- ).

Can we have the Maple Story section split up into more subforums:

Releases - For.. well.. releases, lol.
Questions - About Maple Story hacking with errors they can't find the topic to in releases
Outdated - For the good bots that don't work anymore. The person that made them can then just go in, edit it, PM a mod and get it moved back to releases Very Happy

I think this would alleviate a lot of time and it would be efficient to both releases and people seeking to find something because the people that release something want people to use it, and if it's jumped up in a mass of 40 billion questions an hour, people don't see it on the front page like it should be, so they can post it in the release and it will take a while for it to move down to the second page because, not only will people (most likely) be posting on it so it will stay bumped, but it will take a while for other people releasing to post enough to bump it off the page.

It would help people wanting to download because they don't have to look through 20 pages of questions to get to the release they're looking for. I can't see any cons in this except that an admin would have to spend about 20 seconds making the forums and mods would have to spend a bit of time moving the questions (They can delete like week old topics that no one has posted on to prevent people from ressing like trolls and stuff)

Well the Maplestory secion is already split in to Gameplay and Private Server and Private Servers are split into App. and Advertisments.

But why should that prevent it to be splitting up a bit more? I see no cons to it other than the time it would take at FIRST. Then after that there would be no problems and it would run much better than it does now.

Btw, if you got your name from the inheritance trilogy, I love those books ^.^ Reading Brisingr now

Why's that? After the initial confusion and time spent moving relatively new topics, it would be very easy. The only thing that would make moderating it any harder would be having to go to a different forum, which can easily be remedied by bookmarks.

If this suggestion is taken into suggestion and these sections are made, the administrators can give people a week or so to get used to the changes, and then start infracting people for not following the rules and posting in the different section.
