Umm...? I don't see how those relate but...
Xbox arcade is a place you can navigate too through your Xbox dashboard and you can purchase arcade type games with Microsoft points.
Xbox Pro- Gold Membership? Pro package deal? |
I am talking about the console types.
XBox arcade is for 200 dollars while the Xbox pro is 300 dollars.
Also, how does xbox live work? Does it work off of your current internet? _________________

I got the Pro package with the 30 GB HD. Xbox live does cost money, I pay 50 dollars a year and yes it does work of your current connection. _________________

What the hell? What's the point then? Why do you have to pay for it...
EDIT:
Also, do xbox(first one) games work on xbox 360?
Pretty much, does the xbox 360 have backwards compatibility? _________________

I don't know... Lol I guess Microsoft needs money to keep their servers up? 50 bucks a year is worth it to me.
When buying the pro package I think it comes with an extra controller and a 30 GB Hard drive. The 200 dollar version doesn't even have a Hard drive. _________________

One more question, do you have the wireless or ethernet connection?
Does this sound like a good deal to you?
Starter kit: http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-60GB-LIVE-Starter-Pack/dp/B001HHWFEY/ref=pd_bbs_2?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1235351503&sr=8-2
Xbox Arcade: http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Arcade-Console-Bonus-Game/dp/B001FPBZBC/ref=pd_bbs_3?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1235349774&sr=8-3
Starter kit for Live has:
* 60GB Hardrive
* Ethernet cable
* 3 Month subscription to Xbox LIVE
* Wired headset
* Upgrade your Xbox Arcade
and xbox arcade has:
* Family Settings allow parents to restrict game access for younger players
* Wireless controller
* HDMI lets you get HD video (up to 1080p, cable sold separately)
* Go online with Xbox Live
* Includes Sega Superstars Tennis game and 5 bundled Xbox Live Arcade games
Is this a good deal(that allows live access)?
Total is 300 dollars.
EDIT:
@Despair
Do you have to convert it or anything or does AVI work just as well? _________________

The Fall Dashboard update in 2006 added support for the Windows Media Video (WMV) video codec. The feature was a welcomed gain for non-Media Center users who have been limited to photo and music sharing between their Windows PCs and Xbox 360s -- and to anyone who's longed to watch video files on 360 via a thumb drive or CD/DVD.
Unfortunately, licensing fees and digital rights concerns have limited the patch to WMV-support only. Being Microsoft's proprietary format, WMV is neither popular or oft-used, taking a backseat to preferred codecs like DivX and XviD. And so, we're still left scrambling for a solution to getting our video content onto Xbox 360. |

Seems like like a great deal. I spent around 500 bucks for all my xbox stuff when I first purchased it and your getting a lot more then I did for cheaper. I use an Ethernet cable for my connection. I didn't want to drop more money on the wireless. _________________

Is the ethernet cable different than for computers(the jacks)?
And, how long is it? _________________

So all in all I'd be getting:
60 GB HDD
3 months of Xbox live
Ethernet Cable
Headset
Xbox 360
for $300.
This is a good price right? _________________
