| both the older and newest version of limewire are not working for me now, they did before, on the old one i only got one bar of connection and on the new one i don't have any, i used to have full. any help?

Delete all traces of lime wire of ur pc...
Reformat and never typw/say/speak of/talk of limewire again...

Was there any errors while installing limewire?
But i suggest getting FrostWire, its much better

Uninstall the limewire versions, run ccleaner, and try to install again. If it does not work, reformatt/systemrestore, and try again.

no that's my opinion to don't use it or frost wire and limewire there both virus whores go to a website like datpiff or something for your exact music that your into and download it there then check for virus if no virus then your good to go lime wire and frost wire is horrible its like giving a human being rat poison delete lime wire or frost wire if you downloaded it run cc cleaner i think its free and never speak of the evil limewire again

biased opinion! you can only say that "there are better alternatives" but you can't say it IS evil by just looking at its malware ratio. you get many rare songs from the gnutella network that don't exist on sites like the pirate bay.
still, be careful - if you insist on opening exes and DRM'd music, nobody's willing to save you.

well your right and yes i am over exaggerating but my personal experience for a normal user i wouldn't recommend either is what i am just trying to get across.
