| fraps shouldn't lag unless your rig sucks... I can fraps on gta IV without lag and it comes out perfect quality.

That's because your fps is automatically restricted to the framerate
you have selected to record at.
Try increasing the framerate in fraps. (This WILL make a HUGE file)
Also, you need to edit the video afterwards into a .mp4 or whatever
if you want to upload it to youtube or similar.
I usually record at 35-40 frames per second.
Though it looks laggy whilst playing, it won't once you compress it with DivX, XviD, MPEG or whatever.

Lol, what's the difference if you think he lags or not?
The point is he doesn't want Fraps so stop bitching about it.
You can try Zdsoft or GameCam.

Fraps will run on 512 since my bro has it, It even worked on 256.
