U cannot hack text-based games. Everything is server sided..

I heard you could do sql injection to hack game like that is that true?

You go to the server (aka the computer which is running with the server data and just change everything)

it's impossible cause you have to go to company's computer and say hey, give me your password to admin and stuff so i could hack you

I've seen allot of people hacking and cheating on games like that..?

But if i happen to hack the admin computer/user would i be able to do something then? :p

You are able to exploit javascript and html code if you find a way.
Otherwise you're in for quite a struggle.

Just experiment with packets, sometimes you will find something, most of the time you won't.

I've tried packets but i fail Neutral

always when i try sending packets i get error sending packets Neutral

So if the game has some sort of countdown timer like after you do a crime you have to wait 60sec can you alter that with javascript? i read something like javascript:clearTimeout(mytime) but i have no idea how to find the timer name Neutral

Anyone wanna help or got some advices?

Just press print screen
open mspaint
press ctrl+v
Now you can edit everything, including changing your money to an incredibly big value

as to answer the question, the timeout is as easily hacked as the timeout between giving rep to people on this forum
