Honestly I have no idea why everyone says Halo is better than any other FPS. Would someone like to explain that to me?

I like to play realistic FPS, not in the future with weird weapons.

But what sets Halo apart from games like Call of Duty: World at War or Metal Gear Solid 4?
Why dose people still talk about Halo 2 and 3 being better than the new FPS released right now.

i had the choice to get halo wars yesterday. but i chose COD 5 instead. its not as good as COD 4, but i still think it's ok. i'l probbally get halo wars next.
