lol but it doesn't say that you need 18 to buy those.. there is no age restriction. for cigarettes, yes there is - you have to be 18 years, and on lighters it doesn't say anything.
I was buying them since 12 i live in Lithuania, Europe.

same in UK, it used to be 16 for cigs and 18 for lighters but now you need to be 18 for both.
Matches don't have such strict rules though I think..

| I don't believe there's any State or Federal laws on the sale of lighters to minors, but a lot of places still won't sell them.

Indeed.
Go to target and buy yourself a 5 pack lighter for $4.00. Go to the games counter and you'll probally see a chick as a cashier and then attempt to
purchase them. That worked lol

Trial and error sooner or later a store is going to sell it to you, who cares if they say no it's there loss, if all else fails go buy a BBQ lighter no one asks questions

Never heard you need to be a legal age to buy a lighter, but you need to
be the legal age to buy any lethal cutting products like a box cutter.

Last time I tried to get a lighter the store manager said I can't. =\ Get to know some managers and they'll let you buy anything.

Disposable lighters in England can be purchased in places like Poundland. They don't seem to care there. Zippo lighters and above, though. I'm pretty sure it's 18+.
