Holy shit, just finished the demo.
Any thoughts on the future of the horror-genre FPS? The gameplay was intense.

I've never really liked F.E.A.R as a game, but eh, I'll try the demo anyway.
Same situation with the old Call of Duty games, hated 1 through 3, but loved 4 and WaW.

I have to say that I'm not such a huge fan of the whole premise behind horror genre-based games (not the gameplay, the ideas that go into the story), but F.E.A.R. 2 is going to be worth a buy, in my book.

I love the 'random' scares that only happen in a few areas... that are triggered by doing something within them. (IE for one of them, you'll get it if you turn around. There's no sign of anything funky happening, or anything that would hint at it coming until you turn around and AKSJDASKLDJAS)

If you don't trigger one somewhere, you might get another elsewhere.

Best idea for a horror game.
